Document Image Storage
Preserving and accessing images
Technology and digital image capture has solved the Banking industry’s image delivery and storage problem and while the number of months of images available on line and image retrieval tools varies from institution to institution – the systems were generally designed with the “non business account” customer in mind – with some institutions providing 6 months or less of no cost access to images.
Our servers maintain on line access to over 3 years of images with off line access to a full 7 years. Our programs are robust and were designed to allow customers to retrieve hundreds of image at a time via Email, FTP or the Internet at little or no cost – 24 hrs a day 7 days a week!
Regulatory compliance with AML/BSA/SAR requires a Company to have internal review procedures for and reporting of suspicious activities – to comply with these regulations, images must be reviewed, the review documented and documentation retained for 5 years.
Our systems were designed to facilitate this process with long term access to images, custom tools and a secure deliver system. For example:
If an examiner requests all money orders written by a specific agent, from 5 years ago to date, for all items issued over $250.00, that cleared in check sequence or trace sequence order in less than 3 days – can your present image provider fulfill this request with hundreds of images and worksheets listing the items at no extra cost? We can!
Can your present image provider assist you with tools that will combine a compliance review of suspicious items noted during issuing with a review of the items as they are paid or a routine review of all paid items? Or can you current provider assist you with tools to document your review and complete the SAR report? We can!
If long term access to your images and compliance issues are important to you – We can help.
